BOYSEN®® Lacquer Sanding Sealer B‑1254

BOYSEN®® Lacquer Sanding Sealer B‑1254 is a commercial grade nitrocellulose-based sealer for wood. It is used before finishing with either gloss or flat lacquer. It requires less sanding and has good sealing and hold-out properties.

SERVICE CONDITIONS

If necessary, add approximately 10% by volume of BOYSEN®® Lacquer Flo B‑1205 to the ready-to-use mixture.

SURFACE PREPARATION

Sand surface until wood is smooth to the touch. Hammer all nails deep enough to apply wood filler. Dust off surfaces completely then wipe with a clean rag. If repainting, remove all paint by using manual or mechanical methods prior to the application of BOYSEN®® Lacquer Sanding Sealer.

MATERIAL PREPARATION

10% by volume of BOYSEN®® Lacquer Flo B‑1205 is added to the ready-to-use topcoat mixture just before application to prevent moisture blushing during relatively cold or damp climate conditions.
