Hudson® Polyurethane Floor Varnish Sealer

Features:

DESCRIPTION:  Hudson® Polyurethane Floor Sealer is an aromatic,  two-component urethane sealer to provide good adhesion of Hudson® Polyurethane Floor Varnish Topcoat.

PRINCIPAL USES: As a primer for parquet and other wooden floors and counter-tops for subsequent coating of Hudson® Polyurethane Floor Varnish Topcoat (indoor use).

PRACTICAL COVERAGE: 20 - 25 sq.m./4 liters/coat

SURFACE DRY: Thirty (30) minutes

DRY THROUGH: One (1) hour

DRY FILM THICKNESS: 1.5 mils/coat

OVERCOATING INTERVAL: Recoat after 6 hours

APPLICATION: By natural hair brush or air spray

Hudson® Polyurethane Catalyst - 1/2 liter can

 

Instructions

SURFACE PREPARATION:

New Wood:
1. Use only kiln dried wood.
2. Countersink nail heads for putty application.
3. Sand rough wood until smooth, then dust off before painting.
4. Surface to be painted should be clean and dry, free from dust, dirt and other foreign matter.

Old Wood:
1. Remove loose paint to sound surface.
2. Scuff sand intact film to provide anchorage for succeeding coats.
3. If old coating is oil-based, scrape all existing paint to bare surface.
4. Surface to be painted should be clean and dry, free from dust, dirt and other foreign matter.

MIXING RATIO:

Hudson® Polyurethane Floor Sealer is mixed 3.5 Liters to its 1/2-liter catalyst. Enough mixture is made for four (4) hours work (maximum). Excess material will gel.

1st and 2nd coats: Hudson® Polyurethane Floor Varnish Sealer
3rd to 5th: Hudson® Polyurethane Floor Varnish Topcoat
