Konstrukt™ Permaplast™ K-210 Acrylic 2K Skimcoat

Konstrukt™ Permaplast™ K-210 Acrylic 2K Skimcoat is a high performance two-pack system for interior use to correct surface imperfections prior to painting. It repairs bubbles, honeycomb, and concrete defects on waviness and plumbness from 1mm to 3mm thick.

MATERIAL PREPARATION

Mix 4-Liters of K-210 Acrylic 2K Skimcoat Part A (Liquid) per 28-kg bag of K-210 Acrylic 2K Skimcoat Part B (Powder) and 8-Liters of water on-site into a clean plastic or aluminum container.

Using a mixing device, stir the mixture until it is free of any lumps.

Mixture can be used within a 1-2 hour working time. No other material should be added into the mixture.

SURFACE PREPARATION

Surface should be clean and dry, free from oil, grease, dirt, contaminants, and all loose grit and mortar. For previously painted concrete surfaces, make sure the paint has been completely scraped off.

APPLICATION SCHEDULE

Using a steel trowel, apply a thin layer of mixture on the surface by firmly pressing the edge of the trowel on the concrete until all areas are covered.

Let it dry for at least 1 to 2 hours before applying the second coat, if necessary.

If trowel marks are visible, let surface dry for at least another 30 minutes before sanding to further smoothen surfaces.

No need to neutralize. Allow at least 7 days curing time before painting the desired topcoat.
