BOYSEN® Healthy Home™ Antibacterial Latex Paint with Microban® is a low-odor and low-VOC water-based coating that offers protection for people living in closed quarters. It delivers antibacterial protection against common bacteria such as E. coli, Salmonella, Listeria, and Golden Staph. It also provides antifungal protection against growth of mould on painted surfaces especially in damp areas of the home. BOYSEN® Healthy Home™ is readily available in a unique satin sheen.
Microban®, the world’s leading antibacterial brand, is incorporated in the manufacturing stage of the paint. Proven safe to humans and the environment, its protection lasts continuously for the entire service life of the paint.
AVAILABILITY: 4-li packaging
COVERAGE: 25 to 30 square meters per 4 liters per coat
DRYING TIME: 1-2 hours
DRY FILM THICKNESS: 1.5 mils
APPLICATION: paint brush, roller, or airless spray
THINNING: Use as supplied. If necessary, thin with not more than ½ liter of clean water per 4-liter can.
TINTING: Use only BOYSEN® Latex Colors to achieve pastel shades. Factory premixed colors or preparations via Mix-and-Match™ outlets are recommended especially when preparing darker shades.

SURFACE PREPARATION:
Affix drywall boards following specific standard installation guidelines by the board manufacturer. Check for paint compatibility and drying time of joint compound.
PAINT APPLICATION:
1. Prime bare substrate with BOYSEN® Permacoat™ Flat Latex #701 (100% acrylic, waterbased) or BOYSEN® Ecoprimer™ #105 (100% acrylic, waterbased, low VOC).
2. Putty minor surface imperfections with BOYSEN® Gypsum Joint Compound #711. Let dry for one (1) hour. Spot prime puttied portions.
3. Finish with two (2) coats of BOYSEN® Healthy Home™ to your desired premixed shade. Let dry for one (1) hour in between coats.
