Hudson® Timber Coat Polyurethane Water-based Wood Coating is a one component waterborne non-yellowing urethane coating ideal for finishes on wood and parquet floors. It combines excellent hardness and flexibility, high abrasion resistance and high gloss appearance. It resists ordinary household detergents, acids and alkalis, sauces, food spills and beverages. Gives mild odor.
USE:
Excellent on wooden floor parquets used for residences, condominiums, offices and townhouses. For interior and exterior wood such as furniture, fixtures, cabinets, doors, moldings, jambs and panels.
APPLICATION: brush or spray
RECOATING INTERVAL: 1 hour
THINNING: Not necessary
CLEAN UP: Application tools should be cleaned with water.
STABILITY:1-year shelf-life in unopened container properly stored container.

Surface Preparation:

Use only kiln dried wood.

Sand rough wood until smooth, then dust off before painting.

Surface to be painted should be clean and dry, free from dust, dirt and other foreign matter.
FINISH APPLICATION:

Shake Hudson® Timber Coat Polyurethane Water-based Wood Coating for 15 to 20 seconds and let sit for 5 to 10 minutes.

Apply first coat. First coat acts as a sealer for new wood surfaces. Let dry for an hour.

Sand and apply another coat.

Sand after an hour. Apply two more coats.

Allow 48 hours drying time for areas with light traffic and at least seven (7) days for normal to heavy traffic areas.
DISCLAIMER: Always prepare a sample or test area to determine compatibility, appearance and desired results.Do not use product over alkyd-based wood fillers, alkyd-based wood stains, and latex. Tannin naturally appears on some wood types. Finish results may vary depending on wood species.
