Boysen® Water White Clear Gloss Lacquer #1258

DESCRIPTION:  Boysen® Water White Clear Gloss Lacquer #1258 is the highest grade clear gloss lacquer finish for a durable finishing for interior woodwork. Its properties enhance the natural grain of wood.

PRINCIPAL USES: For lacquer finishing of interior wood walls, furniture, fixtures, cabinets, doors and panels.

PRACTICAL COVERAGE: 25-30 sq.m / gallon / coat

SURFACE DRY: 10 minutes

DRY THROUGH: 1 hour

DRY FILM THICKNESS: 1.5 mils / coat

OVERCOATING INTERVAL: Recoat after 30 minutes

APPLICATION: by brush or spray

THINNING: Boysen® Lacquer Thinner #50

PACKAGING: 4-liter cans

PAINTING SCHEDULE:

Sealer coat: Boysen® Lacquer Sanding Sealer #1254
Final coat: Boysen® Water White Clear Gloss Lacquer #1258
               
Repainting:
Old lacquer finish in bad condition should be stripped. Prepare to clean and dry before finishing as indicated for new wood.
If old lacquer finish is in good condition, sand and dust surface. Make sure to clean and dry before coating.  Apply required finish coats of Boysen® Water White Clear Gloss Lacquer #1258. 

(Note: 10% by volume of Boysen® Lacquer Flo is added to the varnish mixture just before application to prevent moisture blushing)
