Environmental Standard Conditions

During the application, the minimum temperature should be 10ºC while the maximum temperature is 40ºC. In the next 24 hours following the application, minimum temperature and humidity should be constant.

Surface Preparation

Proper attention to surface preparation will help climate the possibilities of unwanted errors showing through the finished surface. One coat of Marmorino™ Primer should be applied via brush or roller. Wait for about (4) hours to dry.

Consumption: 150-200 g/m²

• Apply a first coat of Marmorino™ liberally using the Marmorino™ Trowel. Make sure to keep as many ridges and trowel imperfections out of the base coat as possible. Allow this coat to fully dry for 10 hours.
• Consumption: 500-600 g/m²

• Apply the second coat of Marmorino™ again using Marmorino™ Trowel but this time with less material than the previous step and again keeping ridges and trowel imperfections to minimum. Allow this to dry for about 10 hours until wet spots are no longer visible, then proceed with the 3^rd coating.
• Consumption: 220-300 g/m²

• Apply 3^rd coat of BOYSEN® Marmorino™. Allow to set for few minutes only. Begin the final coat over the resulting damp surface.
• Consumption: 80-100 g/m²

• Press in some more Marmorino™ using the trowel for surface-leveling, in order to achieve a more uniform and smooth finish. Let dry for another 48 hours.

• When BOYSEN® Marmorino™ has dried, use a soft sponge to apply the Natural Wax Protection. Work the wax into the surface and wipe any excess fluid off. Cover about one (1) sq. m at a time for better control over the design.

• Consumption: 30-50 g/m²

• Finally, smooth the surface with a soft, lint-free cloth.
